Lesson 14: Keep your voice in AI-assisted writing
When Tianyu Xu started on LinkedIn, he let ChatGPT write his posts from his ideas. Within three months he had lost 100 followers, because the posts read like everyone else’s AI output. He switched to writing and dictating everything himself, and his presence grew from there.
You will learn his working rule: AI can fix your logic, tighten your structure and check grammar, but it should never drive your thinking. Tianyu shows how he uses the dictate button in Claude to talk through an idea for five or ten minutes, then turns that brain dump into a clear brief. Your raw words stay at the center of the final piece.
Reflection Activity / Action Item: Record a two-minute voice note about a lesson from your work. Ask AI to organize it, then read the result and restore any phrases that lost your voice.
